“You are special! Say What?”

Have you ever thought, Does God care about me? Who does He say that I am? I’m just one in 7 Billion, how could He know me?  There are countless things in the bible that shows how God feels about us, but let’s just get to the most important thing that He did to show it.

God proved that you were more important than His only Son.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16

BUT,  That couldn’t mean me, right. ? Not with what I have done!

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”   Romans 5:8

There are people that will say, I will die for you.   The Secret Service are sworn to take a bullet if necessary to protect those in their charge.  However, When the moment of truth comes though, will they follow thru with it? Some will, but some may not.

But when Jesus, the Son of God,  cried out from the Cross, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?”,  Jesus said this because God the Father had indeed forsaken him and turned his back on the world and darkness fell on the land.  Jesus died for you.  To me this was the defining moment of the New Covenant.  That the judgment of God the Father could have poured out His wrath on us, but instead, he poured it out on his Son.  

Fortunately it did not end there, because Jesus was resurrected on the 3rd day just as He had said.  And now a personal relationship is available to those who seek it.

God says you are loved.
